Terms and conditions The reservation of the Mazet de Taranis (the reservation and confirmation emails being authentic) implies full acceptance of the General Conditions set out below (non-compliance with these conditions will automatically result in the filing of a complaint): Article 1 - Duration of stay: The customer reserving the gîte for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises. ​ Article 2 - Conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the price of the stay. Prices are inclusive of all charges, excluding tourist tax. The owner also reserves the right to establish a booking contract in duplicate signed by both parties. ​ Section 3 - Cancellation by the customer: Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter addressed to the owner. a) Cancellation before the start of the stay: if the cancellation occurs more than 2 weeks before the start of the stay, the deposit is refunded. If the cancellation occurs between 2 weeks and 48 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner who is then entitled to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation. b) If the customer does not appear before 8 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, the reservation is canceled and the owner can dispose of the gîte. The deposit remains with the owner who is then entitled to claim the balance of the price of accommodation. c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the total cost of the accommodation remains fully acquired by the owner. ​ Section 4 - Cancellation by the owner: When before the start of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The customer, without prejudging recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be immediately reimbursed for the sums paid. ​ Section 5 - Arrival: In case of late or deferred arrival, the customer must notify the owner. ​ Section 6 - Payment of the balance: The balance is to be paid on arrival at the owner. Consumption and additional services will be payable at the end of the stay to the owner. ​ Section 7 - Tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the Community of communes of Val de Ligne. ​ Section 8 - Use of the premises: The customer must respect the peaceful character of the premises and make use of them in accordance with their destination. It is strictly forbidden to throw food or any solid object into the toilet bowls, in particular: condoms, tampons, cigarettes, cotton balls, cotton swabs, diapers, sanitary napkins, teats, bottles, flasks, fabrics, stones, etc. .. Section 9 - Capacity: The reservation of the gîte is established for a specific number of people, including children and babies. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse additional guests or refuse access to the gite. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered and the balance remains due. ​ Section 10 - Animals: Following completely abnormal behavior by some dog owners, animals are no longer accepted at Mazet de Taranis. In addition, if the animal weighs more than 10 kg and depending on the breed, the owner reserves the right to charge 10 € per day for cleaning time. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the owner may refuse the animals.
